We’re URGENTLY looking for Electrocardiographic Technicians (I &II)
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Set-up & operate equipment to perform standard 12-lead electrocardiography
- Review patient’s record and instr
uct patient prior to procedures - Monitor patient during procedures & report any abnormal findings
- Identify and correct for any wondering interference and artifact
- Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation
- Ensure the timely production and delivery of patient procedures – Only applies to Electrocardiographic Technician I
- Maintain ECG equipment and supplies
- Participate in the implementation of quality management programs for the ECG Unit
- Assist staff management, which includes evaluation , development, as well as preparation and delegation of work schedules and work flow – Only applies to Electrocardiographic Technician I
- Maintain a professional and courteous rel
- ationship with all hospital departments
- Compliance with the hospital infection control & Safety protocols
- Assist in maintaining all records pertaining to the ECG unit
- Perform other job related duties assigned
MUST have the following:
- a Degree in Cardiac Technology or healthcare related field or Equivalent
- AT LEAST 4 years experience in relevant field – Only applies to Electrocardiographic Technician I
- AT LEAST 2 years experience in relevant field – Only applies to Electrocardiographic Technician II
