5)    Prometric Exam (Only for Saudi Arabia)
All foreign medical personnel working at hospitals / healthcare facilities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are required to register with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities. Before you can register with the Commission, you are required to complete a Prometric Exam. It is a 70-item, Multiple-choice exam to be finished in 2 hours. The pass rate is 45%. After the Exam you will be issued with a Score Report and be told immediately whether or not you have passed.
Certain hospitals have made it compulsory that this exam be done prior to the visa being issued. We do recommend that, where possible, all candidates write the exam before leaving, as it is much less stressful. Please enquire with your Consultant about this.
